Broadway in the heart of Sandy Springs!

Bio – Courtenay Collins

Courtenay Collins recently returned from Broadway where she played “Mrs. Green” in The Prom, the Tony nominated musical directed by Casey Nicholaw.

In Atlanta, she has been in many shows at The Alliance Theatre and other theatre in town. She graduated from Converse College and The Juilliard School where she won with The Michel and Suria Saint Denis Award for Drama. Courtenay co-founded and ran Show Camp USA, a performing arts summer camp based in Sandy Springs for 8 years, where she discovered her passion for teaching aspiring young talent. A well-rounded Atlanta artist, Courtenay has a thriving private vocal studio, she owns a jewelry business call Vintage Spirit Designs, and runs a small production company called Mamma Sez Productions. She performs and writes her solo shows under the umbrella title “Courtenay’s Cabaret”. This year she will remount her popular holiday show “Courtenay’s Cabaret – Home for the Holidays” on the Alliance’s Hertz Stage during the month of December. Courtenay has performed leading roles in almost every type of theatrical venue – regional theatre, national tours, theme parks, dinner theatre, Off- Broadway and now Broadway! She is happy to share her experience and expertise with City Springs Theatre Conservatory and Project Broadway.
