Bio – Meg Gillentine

Meg began her dance training here with the Atlanta Ballet, graduated from CCCEPA, and received her BA in Acting from NYU. She made her Broadway Debut at nineteen in Cats, followed by Fosse, The Frogs, and A Bed and a Chair, A New York Love Affair, with music by Stephen Sondheim, performing alongside Wynton Marsalis and Bernadette Peters at City Center. You can see her in the PBS special Fosse, with Ann Reinking and Ben Vereen, and The Producers movie with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick. Regional credits include the 1st National Tour of The Producers with Jason Alexander and Martin Short, Damn Yankees, Lola (Helen Hayes Award for Best Actress in a Musical) Cabaret, Sally Bowles (Helen Hayes Nomination) and Mother Courage and Her Children with Kathleen Turner at Arena Stage in DC. She is thrilled to be on Faculty at City Springs Theatre, sharing her love of the craft that has filled her soul for over 30 years.
