Kristine Reese

Head of Recruitment and Curriculum

Kristine is a Broadway actress, director, voice teacher and performance coach. She is the Head of
Recruitment and Curriculum for City Springs Conservatory, Co - Director of the Pre Professional
Company and the Director, creator and head coach of The College Process.

Kristine has performed on Broadway, National Tours, regional theatre houses and concert venues across
the globe. She earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from the Cincinnati, College - Conservatory of Music
and has trained under some of the most accomplished voice specialists, clinical SLPs and vocal
pedagogs in the nation including Christine Schneider, Andrew Bryne, Joan Lader and her mentor, Dr.
Wendy LeBorgne.

Her specialities include mixed voice singing, resonance, legit singing for musical theatre, freeing the voice
and body and vocal health and wellness. Her most requested mixed - belt singing exercise is published in
The Vocal Athlete: Application and Technique for the Hybrid Singer, Third Edition.

Kristine combines her performance training, pedagogic approaches and experiences as a mom to ensure
she can help every single person that she works with. Her philosophy aims to prepare students to
comfortably, confidently and competently succeed in every situation with a combination of technique and
audacity, blending holistic strategies with pedagogical and technical practices to help students execute at
their best. She is committed to refining students’ techniques, fostering the authentic and artistic self and
empowering and inspiring the human being. She is motivated to leave every student “feeling better when
they walk out than when they came in."

One of Kristine’s biggest priorities is preparing her students for a career in the arts and beyond. Kristine is
the Director and creator of The College Process program, a boutique College Prep program that provides
comprehensive services to students interested in auditioning in Musical Theatre and acting programs. Her
students have an average callback rate of 85% and have been accepted on scholarship to the nation’s
most prestigious programs including The University of Michigan, Texas State, Carnegie Melon, Point
Park, Boston Conservatory, CCM, Missouri State, Oklahoma University, Elon, Florida State, OCU,
Syracuse, Northwestern and more.

As a performer, Kristine is best known for playing Catherine on the Tony-Award winning National Tour of
PIPPIN and originating the role Nessarose on the original Second National Tour of WICKED. She also
appeared on the National Tours of FINDING NEVERLAND (Mary Barrie) and MAMMA MIA! and on
Broadway in the 2006 Revival of LES MISERABLES. Other credits include roles at The MUNY, Kansas
City Starlight, Theatreworks Silicon Valley, Music Theatre Wichita and, City Springs Theatre Company, as
well as appearances as a vocal soloist in over a dozen international Symphony Orchestras. Kristine’s
voice over work has been featured on Audible.
