Kristine Reese

Head of Recruitment and Curriculum, Pre-Pro and College Process Director, Private Voice Faculty

Kristine is an actor, singer, coach, director, coach and educator. She has performed on Broadway, National Tours, regional theatre houses and concert venues across the globe and is best known for playing Catherine on the Tony-Award winning National Tour of PIPPIN and originating the role Nessarose on the original Second National Tour of WICKED. She also appeared on the National Tours of FINDING NEVERLAND (Mary Barrie) and MAMMA MIA! and on Broadway in the 2006 Revival of LES MISERABLES. Other credits include roles at The MUNY, Kansas City Starlight, Theatreworks Silicon Valley, Music Theatre Wichita and, City Springs Theatre Company, as well as appearances as a vocal soloist in over a dozen international Symphony Orchestras. Kristine earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from the prestigious Cincinnati College – Conservatory of Music. 

 

Kristine’s philosophy is to prepare students to comfortably, confidently and competently succeed in every situation with a combination of technique and audacity. Kristine’s approach is holistic – she is committed to refining students’ techniques, fostering the authentic and artistic self and empowering and inspiring the human being. She is motivated to leave every student “feeling better when they walk out than when they came in” and to prepare them for a career in the arts AND beyond. 

 

Kristine’s goal is to help her students achieve their dreams, make rigorous, high – end arts education approachable and accessible to everyone and to build the Atlanta arts community to be the most competitive in the Nation.
