SEPTEMBER 11-27 AT THE BYERS THEATRE

Sent to jail for stealing a loaf of bread in 19th-century France, prisoner Jean Valjean earns his release after 19 years of imprisonment only to find a world unwilling to give him a second chance. When a kind Bishop comes to his aid, Valjean breaks his parole in the hope of starting a new life with a new identity. In time, Valjean is able to become a prosperous business owner, loving adoptive father, and politician. But not all is serene as a relentless police inspector, Javert, pursues the parole breaker Valjean, convinced that men cannot change. As Valjean confronts and evades Javert at various turns, each man must face how their game of cat and mouse has challenged their ideas of a virtuous life.

BYERS THEATRE

Named after Ken and Trish Byers, the Byers Theatre is the primary performance space at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts center. The theatre holds 1,096 seats, including 18 VIP boxes. Every seat is not available for all performances due to sightlines.

PARKING AT THE BYERS THEATRE

The City Springs campus is home to busy restaurants and occasional additional events. We always recommend arriving early to secure parking.

Underground Parking Deck - $10 (Pay at time of entry)

Street Parking: All street parking at City Springs requires registration via the area signage. First two hours are free, and additional time requires payment. Scan the QR code near your parking space to begin the process.

Please note: Valet parking will not be available for this performance.

SECURITY AT THE SSPAC

All patrons will be required to pass through metal detectors at time of entry. Bags and purses will be checked. Security requirements may change at any time based on management's discretion.
