City Springs Theatre Conservatory is proud to have such qualified instructors working to teach our students. Below please find class descriptions for each instructor, as well as their availability and private teaching rates.

Bob Adams

Bob Adams was the head of the Drama Department at Pebblebrook High School (CCCEPA), Cobb County’s performing arts magnet school for twenty-five years before retiring in 2022. Mr. Adams also served as the director of the ETC and Prompt summer camps in Cobb County. While at Pebblebrook, his teaching work focused on the Meisner technique, Shakespearean acting, and musical theatre. His former students can be found performing on Broadway, London’s West End, television, film, national tours, regional theatres, and cruise lines all over the world.

Amanda Fallon Smith

Amanda Fallon Smith is deeply committed to the art and science of teaching voice. Her approach to vocal pedagogy emphasizes not only vocal technique but also vocal health, ensuring her students develop a sustainable and healthy vocal practice. Amanda teaches a deeper understanding of the physical instrument, guiding students to achieve vocal balance and mastery over their craft. She believes that this holistic approach allows singers to reach their fullest potential, whether on stage or in auditions. She is thrilled to bring her expertise to City Springs Theatre Co., where she aims to inspire and empower students to achieve their highest artistic goals while fostering a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts.

Jordan Sam Rich hails from Atlanta, Georgia and went to high school just down the street at North Springs Charter. Off B’way: Doc in No Villain reading (The Public Theatre) starring Judith Light, Santino Fontana and Peter Friedman. National Tour: Pete the Cat. Regional credits include: Asolo Repertory Theatre (Intimate Apparel, Inherit the Wind, Hood, Eureka Day, Our Town and Fountain), City Springs Theatre Company (Ragtime, Les Miserables, Beautiful, The Music Man, Jersey Boys, Come From Away), Actor’s Express (Marie Antionette) and Santa Rosa Rep (Little Shop, South Pacific and Emma). Jordan has worked at The Eugene O’Neill as an assistant director. Training: Florida State University/Asolo Rep MFA Acting program and The University of Michigan BFA Acting program. Jordan’s teaching philosophy champions artistic excellence, tenaciously pursuing the truth and joyous play. He utilizes a variety of techniques that merge the body, voice and creative brain to unite the actor's process into a singular being.
