Sandy Springs Presents Joe Gransden’s Big Band Jazz Camp

Join Atlanta-Based trumpeter and vocalist Joe Gransden in this week long big band summer camp! Members of his Big Band along with some top notch teachers from around the country will work with the students to keep jazz music alive and inspire student to continue to create excellence! This year, the camp will be held at the beautiful Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center AND will include a Jazz Vocal Program!

The City of Sandy Springs and City Springs Theatre Company are excited to offer season two of NextGen Broadway, a musical theatre camp for the next generation of artists and audiences. This musical theatre intensive will provide young performers the opportunity to work on all three essential disciplines that make up musical theatre: singing, dancing, and acting!
This year, there will be 2 weeks of camp, focusing on two different age groups of rising 3rd – 5th grades and rising 6th – 8th grades. Each group will enjoy a week of light-hearted theatre and fun! Campers will enhance their performing arts skillset, while experiencing an all-encompassing look at what it takes to be a musical theatre performer. No experience needed!
The camp will culminate with a final showcase debuting the Next Generation of Broadway, which is free to all participant families. All young performers will have an opportunity to audition for solos and select speaking roles in the performance.
