CITY SPRINGS THEATRE COMPANY'S HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

City Springs Theatre Company makes the health and safety of it's performers, staff and audience a priority.

Thank you to all our patrons for following our health and safety protocols for our September production of The Sound of Music.

We will be monitoring Covid-19 trends in our community as we approach our March 2022 production of A CHORUS LINE and will make an announcement regarding protocols for that production 2-3 weeks prior to the show’s opening night on March 11.

Our protocols for our September 2021 production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC were as follows:

City Springs Theatre Company’s top priority is the health and safety of our patrons, performers, and staff as we continue to navigate the pandemic. Due to increased cases of COVID-19, City Springs Theatre Company will require adult patrons to be fully vaccinated with a FDA or WHO authorized COVID-19 vaccine or provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test for our upcoming production of The Sound of Music. In addition, all patrons must wear masks while inside the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center.

Our detailed COVID protocols for performances of The Sound of Music are as follows:

ADULTS (18 & OLDER)

  • Masks are required to be worn properly, indoors, at all times.
  • Proof of an FDA or WHO Authorized Covid-19 vaccine OR proof of a negative COVID-19 test
    • Must be “fully vaccinated” for proof of vaccination to be valid. “Fully vaccinated” means the performance date you are attending is at least 14 days after your last required dose of an FDA or WHO authorized Covid-19 vaccine.
    • Proof of vaccination must come directly from a healthcare provider that performed the vaccination. Proof of vaccination may be shown by presenting a physical vaccination card, a photo of a physical card, or a digital confirmation of vaccination.
    • COVID-19 test must have been taken within 72 hours and must come directly from a healthcare provider that performed the test.
    • For those that are unable to test prior to arriving to the performance, there will be an onsite testing option available to all patrons. Onsite testing costs $20 and must be paid by credit card, Apple Pay or Venmo.
  • A valid government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport must be shown and matched to the proof of vaccination or negative test.
  • Sanitizing is strongly encouraged before the show, at intermission, and upon exiting the theatre.

CHILDREN (17 & UNDER)

  • Masks are required to be worn properly, indoors, at all times.
  • Sanitizing is strongly encouraged before the show, at intermission, and upon exiting the theatre.

In addition to requiring these policies for our audiences, we are also requiring this protocol for our actors, musicians, backstage crew, and creative/production team members.

CITY SPRINGS THEATRE COMPANY WILL ALSO HAVE IN PLACE THE FOLLOWING SAFETY MEASURES:

  • Reduced Contact– Ticket scanning will be contactless. Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center staff will be equipped with masks.
  • Sanitizing– The Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center will provide enhanced and frequent cleaning of high-traffic surfaces, as well as more hand sanitizing stations throughout the lobby.

City Springs Theatre Company is continuing to monitor local, state, and federal policies for live events. Health and safety protocols are subject to change at any time and will be clearly communicated to patrons prior to performances. Future policies will be determined closer to each performance date and will be made based on current conditions, CDC guidelines, government policies and industry standards.

TICKET FLEXIBILITY

First and foremost, thank you for your patronage and loyalty over the last 18 months as we have navigated these challenging times. Because of the uncertainty created by the pandemic, we have updated our ticket policies to provide more flexibility to our patrons in the event that you are unable to attend a performance. City Springs Theatre Company is now offering flexible exchanges for all season AND single ticket buyers across shows within the season. If you are unable to attend a performance for any reason, you may exchange for a future performance or production within the 2021-22 season. Exchanges are complimentary, unless upgrading to a higher ticket price, and may be requested up until your scheduled performance time. If requested after your scheduled performance, an exchange will not be granted. To request an exchange, please call our Box Office at 404-477-4365, Monday-Friday from 10:00am – 5:00pm.
