All tickets have been emailed to patrons at the time of purchase, unless requested to be mailed or held at will call. Our Box Office will open two (2) hours prior to the start of each performance and is located behind the fountain in the circular drive next to the Byers Theatre. Questions? Lobby doors open one (1) hour prior to showtime.
Theatre doors open approximately 30-minutes prior to showtime.

THE WIZARD OF OZ is the timeless tale of young Dorothy Gale, who travels from Kansas “over the rainbow” to the magical Land of Oz, where she meets colorful characters along the way, and makes an enemy of a truly wicked witch! This adaptation (by John Kane for the Royal Shakespeare Company) has thrilled audiences worldwide since it’s premiere in London in 1988, and includes the classic songs “Over the Rainbow,” “Munchkinland (Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead),” “If I Only Had a Brain/a Heart/the Nerve,” “We’re Off to See the Wizard (Follow the Yellow Brick Road),” “Jitterbug,” and “The Merry Old Land of Oz.”
This production is suitable for all ages. All patrons must have a ticket regardless of age. All sales are final. No refunds.

Named after Ken and Trish Byers, the Byers Theatre is the primary performance space at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts center. The theatre holds 1,096 seats, including 18 VIP boxes.

The use of photography or video equipment during the performance is strictly prohibited. Patrons may, however, use their mobile devices to record and photograph the curtain call at the end of any performance.

Street Parking Update!
The City has introduced a new process for on-street parking at City Springs. While the first two hours remain free, additional time requires payment. You must scan the QR code near your parking space and enter your information as soon as you park—even if you plan to stay less than two hours. You’ll receive a text reminder near the end of the complimentary period with the option to extend your session. All vehicles parked on the street or in the South Lot must be registered using the QR code, or a parking ticket will be issued by 12Oaks, the parking provider.

We have an all-new hearing assistance system that will allow you to connect your personal bluetooth-enabled listening device to our theater sound system.
All patrons may be required to pass through metal detectors at time of entry. Bags and purses may be checked.

The Byers Theatre offers a selection of candy/snacks, gelato, coffee, soft drinks, wine, beer, and cocktails in the lobby. Outside food and drink are not permitted, and may be confiscated by security.
The theater lobby-adjacent CITY BAR is open one hour prior to showtime at all performances, and serves food. Their pre-show menu can be viewed here. CITY BAR does stop taking food orders as showtime approaches, so please arrive early to get served in time for the performance.
